Personal leave

We recognize that our employees may face personal challenges that require their full attention. We aim to support our team during these trying times.

WallOps provides employees with up to five days (37.5 hours) of personal leave per year to cover situations such as bereavement, compassionate care, sick days, family emergencies, or other personal or familial responsibilities. Additional time off may be granted at the discretion of the management.

To request personal time off, employees should submit time off using our time off request form.

Vacation

We believe that taking time off is important for employees' well-being and productivity. Eligible employees may take the amount of vacation time off as indicated in their employment contract. Additionally, you may take unpaid time off with your supervisor's approval.

To request vacation or unpaid time off, submit a request with our time off request form. You will need to be signed in to your WallOps email account to submit your request. Your supervisor will receive a notification and will need to approve your request before it can be finalized.

We encourage you to plan your time off in advance, and to work with your team to ensure that your absence will not disrupt ongoing projects. Please keep in mind that we may need to deny time off requests in certain circumstances, such as during busy periods or if multiple team members request time off at the same time.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to your supervisor.

What if I don't use all of my vacation?

We understand that there might be instances where employees are unable to utilize their full vacation days within the year. In such cases, we allow eligible employees to carry over a maximum of 5 days (37.5 hours) of unused vacation time to the new calendar year.

In order to carry over vacation days, employees are required to inform their respective supervisors by the end of the year, ensuring that the remaining vacation days do not exceed the mentioned limit.

Remember, the intention of a vacation policy is to ensure you take the time you need to rest and rejuvenate. We encourage you to utilize your vacation days within the year, before considering the carry-over option.

Any questions or concerns regarding this policy can be directed to your supervisor.
